Yaccaba Walk 6km return - 2.5hours

Walk from Bennetts Beach or Jimmys Beach to the top of Yacaaba Headland. Yacaaba rises 218m above sea level

 

River Mouth Walk

From the Boulevarde, Winda Woppa to The Short Cut Channel, Myall River - return via beach and Barnes Rock - approx 2km return

 

Spring Flower Walk 1 to 2 hours - Best in August/September

 

From the end of Kiewa Ave Hawks Nest, follow the track on the western side of  Mungo Brush Road. Cross Mungo Brush Rd. south of Quarry Rd and  continue to Pipers Creek.  A spectacular display of wild flowers in Spring

 

Little Gibber Walk:

Track begins 8.3km north of the National Park boundary to right, walk over the dunes to Little Gibber and get a closer look at Broughton Island. Also good fishing and snorkelling - approx 2km return

 

Mungo Track Nature Walk:

Track begins on left .6km north of the National Park boundary. Abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna.

 

Mungo Brush Rainforest Walk - 2km return (30 mins - Grade: easy)

From the Northern end of Mungo Brush Camping area, an easy walk through Paperbark and Cabbage Tree Palm Forest then through Rainforest. As the track moves into open forest koalas may be spotted. The track ends back at the camping area.

 

Mungo Brush to Tamboi:

Track is signposted from Mungo Brush south to small fishing village of Tamboi at the mouth of the Myall River. Village accessible only by boat - 8km return

 

Tea Gardens School Rainforest Walk

A short walk through a Rainforest Garden - suitable for small children

Myall River Art Walk:

Art works are located along the waterfront on Marine Drive, inside and in front of the Library. Cross the bridge to Hawks Nest to Moira Parade and up to the Community Hall.

 

Galleries in the Gardens: A selection of local art works is displayed in 18 businesses within Tea Gardens Village from Tea Gardens Hotel to the Art and Craft Centre. Brochures to guide you on this walk are available from participating businesses and the Visitor Information Centre.

 

History Walk:

A stroll along Marine Drive waterfront from the Singing Bridge, a left turn into Hough Street and down Witt Street to Maxwell Street, then to the waterfront can provide 26 points of historical significance and 2.8kms of exercise.
