A spectacular display of wild flowers in SpringLittle Gibber Walk:Track begins 8.3km north of the National Park boundary to right, walk over the dunes to Little Gibber and get a closer look at Broughton Island. Abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna.Mungo Brush Rainforest Walk - 2km return (30 mins - Grade: easy)From the Northern end of Mungo Brush Camping area, an easy walk through Paperbark and Cabbage Tree Palm Forest then through Rainforest. As the track moves into open forest koalas may be spotted. Myall River Art Walk: Art works are located along the waterfront on Marine Drive, inside and in front of the Library. Cross the bridge to Hawks Nest to Moira Parade and up to the Community Hall.
Galleries in the Gardens: A selection of local art works is displayed in 18 businesses within Tea Gardens Village from Tea Gardens Hotel to the Art and Craft Centre. Brochures to guide you on this walk are available from participating businesses and the Visitor Information Centre.
History Walk:A stroll along Marine Drive waterfront from the Singing Bridge, a left turn into Hough Street and down Witt Street to Maxwell Street, then to the waterfront can provide 26 points of historical significance and 2.8kms of exercise. |
